Part Number: LM22678 Dear Sir/Mam, We are using the Part for LM22678TJE-ADJ/NOPB 5V generation. While giving the input at 12V, output voltage generated for 5V. But if iam increasing the input voltaeg from 12V to 28V means output voltage also increased. So Feed back not controlled the output voltage. Designed parameters are given below L=6.8uH C=100uF Feed Back Voltage = 1.285V

Forum post: TPS22810-Q1: Output protection element
Part Number: TPS22810-Q1 Hi team, Dose TPS22810-Q1 have a protection diode on VOUT pin? Since the minimum of the absolute maximum rating voltage is -0.3V, I think there is a diode between VOUT and GND. Is it correct? When the board GND is floating, current is generated from the GND of the IC to the VOUT pin. We must consider measures, but first we want to know whether there is a current path from GND to the VOUT pin. If there is a diode, can you provide the VI characteristics of this diode? Best regards, Tomoaki Yoshida

Forum post: RE: BQ76930: What is the time error of this 250ms ?
Hi User, The timing tolerance is not specified. If you look at other timing parameters you can see a range, but that will include alignment to the timeline. http://e2e.ti.com/support/power-management/f/196/t/576970 indicated about 3.5%.

Forum post: RE: TPS53515: Connecting EN to VREG
The calibration happens when enable pin is 1.4V when VDD is greater than 2.8V. If the VREG and EN are tied together then the calibration will happen at VDD>=2.8V if the VIN ramp up is slow or if the VIN ramp up is fast VDD>=2.8V and VREG>=1.4V calibration happen. The RF voltage determines the switching frequency during calibration. I think tying the EN=VREG could give the improper switching frequency.

Forum post: RE: UCC28061: UCC28061 single phase operation question
Hi Red, According to datasheet, UCC28061 looks at the voltage on the PHB pin and compares to an internal 800mV reference to determine whether to operate in single phase mode or interleaved mode. If PHB is connected to COMP, the converter will fall into single phase mode whenever COMP becomes less than 800mV. Ideally, COMP should be a flat voltage whose magnitude represents power demand. My suggestion would be to have a low bandwidth to avoid twice line frequency ripple from creating ripple on the COMP voltage. COMP responds to what it sees on VSENSE so keeping the VSENSE signal clean is important. Because this is closed loop, the power stage will also affect the behavior of COMP. Because TSET and VINAC affect the on time, these will have an indirect impact on the behavior on COMP. The power stage, VINAC and TSET are normally selected based on the required power output and AC input range.so there is not much room to deviate with these parameters. If your customer is open to using UCC28064A, this controller has an adjustable threshold for the single phase mode/interleaved mode transition and would offer more flexibility. Best Regards, Ben Lough

if you want to modify the coefficients, go to pmbus_topology.h, modify the coefficients in line 199, 202, 205 and 208: // KP_COEF_1 KP_COEF_0 #define FILTERKPCOEF0_DEFAULT {500, 1778} // KI_COEF_1 KI_COEF_0 #define FILTERKICOEF0_DEFAULT {100, 20} // KD_COEF_1 KD_COEF_0 #define FILTERKDCOEF0_DEFAULT {1500, -64} // researved KD_ALPHA_1 researved KD_ALPHA_0 #define FILTERKDALPHA_DEFAULT {0, 250, 0, 201} the COEF-0 are used for low line input voltage, the COEF_1 are used for high line input voltage

Hi Marc, The BQ77915 is only equipped for 3-5S battery packs. We do have some 2S protectors, but they do not include all of the features of the BQ77915. Forum post: RE: BQ76930: TS2 incorrect reading when 10K resistor not install
Hi Tiger, The BQ76930 biases the TSn line with 3.3V through an internal resistor for temperature measurement. It is about a 50 ms pulse every 2 seconds. Without a thermistor or pull down resistor the pin will float, the temperature measurement will be the high voltage from the open circuit and look like a very cold temperature. Some softwares are written to recognize it as an open-thermistor condition. With the capacitor it can hold a voltage depending on leakages of the components and prevent normal start up of the BQ76930 after shutdown resulting in an XREADY fault. The BQ769x0 should always be operated with a pull down resistance on the TSn pins to the appropriate reference.

Hi, I used to put 3M resistor in parallel to TS2 and VC5x to prevent floating on our other product based on BQ76940, so that when no NTC is inserted, it is reading 0C (based on our temperature program conversion), this time we use BQ76930 same design as BQ76940, TS2 and VC5x parallel with 3M resistor (also tried with 4700uF), both measured 26C, look like still floating ? Do you have such experiences before ? Tiger

Forum post: RE: BQ24650: bq24650
Hi Vasant, If you don't need MPPT feature, I would suggest to use the BQ24610. They are from the same family, however BQ24650 has MPPSET (VINDPM functionality) and BQ24610 has input current regulation functionality. The mechanism to do lead acid charging on BQ24650 is the same as for BQ24610. However for BQ24610 you have more control over your precharge and fast charge current settings through the use of ISET pins.
