Part Number: TPS1H200A-Q1 I have another question on this high-side driver in regard to the DELAY pin and operation modes attached to it. In regard to the Latch-Off mode, the description appears clear. If over-current detected fault is "long enough" the output latches off and stays off..."until" input toggles "and" fault removed, else will repeat the output latch-off time-out sequence. Make's sense, and additional user programmable delay is a nice feature. But in the Holding (delay) mode, the output simply stays on, but this is still contingent on the input, correct? The output will follow the input regardless (if falls low long enough “or” provided fault is removed). I view high-side drivers as generally intended for switching applications, so this Holding mode feels strange. How is it beneficial or desirable to detect a fault, then lock the output “on” against it until the device overheats? Or am I missing how this feature actually works? Thanks…

Forum post: RE: TPS65400-Q1: Worst case tOFF_min and tON_min behavior
Hi Norman, I can't find the min and max value of the Toff_min time. What is your specified worst case? For the second question, if the Ton calculated by the set voltage output is lower than Ton_min, the part will open the high side Ton_min time each cycle. So each cycle the high side on's energy is higher than needed, the Vout will be charged higher than target and then it will triggered over voltage protection. Thanks, Lishuang

Forum post: RE: TPS548B22: TPS548B22 circuit
Hi Gerold, the P3R7 is for local voltage sense, if i move the trace of P3R10 to connect to the remote load and use the P3R10 to do the bode plot measurement. The injection from AP300 start from P3R10, flow through the TPS548B22's system, then back to P3R10. In that case the voltage sense of P3R7 will not in this system, so the bode plot will not correct. The reason why i ask this question is when we measure the bode plot of the TPS548A20, local FAE suggest we move the P3R7's connection inside the injection loop to make sure the bode plot is correct. Could you pls let me know which one is more accuracy for P3R7's connection? Thanks. Regards, YC

Forum post: RE: TPS3840-Q1: Is there a possibility that tP_HL is max and tD is min ?
Hi Koji San Its better not to establish a relation between TPHL and TD which is not from the design. *For PPL , if VDD is bellow VIT- and going more than VIT + then o/p will go high after TD time. If VDD is more than VIT+ and going bellow VIT- for more than glitch immunity time the then o/p will go low after TPHL time. Yo can refer fig 34 in portland data sheet for Glitch immunity. Forum post: RE: TPS2411: current leakage from pin A to pin C
Hi Penn, Refer to the E2E thread " https://e2e.ti.com/support/power-management/f/196/t/652481 " A resistor needs to be connected from A to GND and not from BBU to A pin. Connecting a 6kohm resistor from A to GND will prevent the output from not rising above 6V. Regards, Kari.

Hi, Cannot say it's diode emulation mode or not, because diode emulation mode allows 22.5mA negative current.

Forum post: TPS23880: TPS23880 Power Policing issue
Part Number: TPS23880 Hi, Customer's project requires class 8 power control of 75W. Customer sets the Power Policing register and it dose not work. The load power is greater than 75W, and PSE dose not cut off. It would cut off until 90W. Could you give a guider or suggestion for power policing setting? Thanks a lot. 1. Customer's code: //CLASS8 else if(CLASS_8_4P_SINGLE == s_classifStatus) { ret = tps_SetDeviceOperatingMode (addr1, OPERATING_MODE_SEMI_AUTO, OPERATING_MODE_SEMI_AUTO, OPERATING_MODE_OFF, OPERATING_MODE_OFF); ret = tps_SetDevice4PPowerAllocation(addr1, _4P_90W, _4P_90W); ret = tps_SetPortILIM(s_sysChanNum, _2X_ILIM_FOLDBACK_CURVE); ret = tps_SetPort4PPolicing(s_sysChanNum, 150); ret = tps_SetPortPower_4P(s_sysChanNum, TPS_ON); } 2. customer's design target: Oliver Ou

Because of this is bqStudio calibration GUI picture , But this GUi picture almost same at BQ40Z50R2 2cell setting and 4cell setting mode. " Applied Cell 1 Voltage " only appear when 2cell and 4cell mode. Is this correct just 1cell Voltage only appear at 2cell and 4cell Mode ?? Regard March Jasper ( Japan Disty Sugimoto )
