Part Number: LMG1205 The module lmg 1205, used in a DC-DC module, malfuntions in the level of PCB. The phenomenon is that the supply voltage of both the lmg1205 and the input cannot be up to the expected values. In my design, the input voltage is 84V, but it turns out only 0.6~0.9V able to add to the circuit. What mistakes may I had made? The PCB or the circuit itself that has been stimulated in LT spice several times? It is improtant to note that during the stimulation, there are some points when the speed of stimulation gets really slowly, but eventually the output voltage obtain the ideal value. If these ponits account for the failure?

Part Number: TPS22976 Hi, I would like to ask if I can supply 1.8V to Vbias (PIN 4) of TPS22976. Based on the datasheet in pin functions table, the recommended voltage range is 2.5V to 5.7V. In the absolute maximum ratings table, the minimum and maximum Vbias voltage is -0.3V and 6V respectively. Will the chip able to operate at 1.8V? Thanks in advance. Any suggestion or advice is much appreciated.

Forum Post: BQ25601: Changing minimum battery voltage when SYS will shut down.

Part Number: BQ25601 Dear Team, I'm experimenting with a BQ25601 charger IC to be suitable for our application. One of the problems I'm experiencing right now is to prevent the output voltage to fall below 3.5V (the cellular radio module depending on the board variant needs 3.2 or 3.5V) I'm really flexible with the solutions, but trying to use as much as possible from what I have right now. I came up with the following: 1) step up the voltage on VSYS by external DC-DC converter (the simplest one) 2) shut down the SYS when it falls below 3.5V. Does BQ25601 allow for changing the voltage at which SYS shuts down? Right now on my test setup it was around 2.5V. 3) use another charger IC, with either an output step up converter, or, if 2 is not applicable with changeable shutdown voltage. Would you recommend some part with that kind of feature as a replacement? More background on our application can be found here: https://e2e.ti.com/support/power-management/f/196/t/820080 and https://e2e.ti.com/support/power-management/f/196/t/818365 Best regards, Krzysztof Kondratowicz.

Part Number: UCD7138 The datasheet said the NOMS and voltage boost can help to deliver the highest source current when turning on the MOS. But I have confusion about this. Why do the NMOS in parallel with PMOS deliver higher source current? And what role does the voltage boost play? Please explain this in detail, thanks.

Part Number: BQ24080 The deep discharge of a LiPo batterypack with integrated PCM does not recover with the BQ24080, but instead shows strange sawtooth discharge behavior. We slowly discharged a LiPo battery pack with integrated PCM. Once the battery was discharged, we enabled the charger, but we are unable to reinstate the battery voltage above 3V.. Has anyone seen this before and have an explanation/solution please? (see images)

Forum Post: UCC21520: Drive capabilities: External components: Bootstrap Diode, VDDA and VDDB capacitors, Ron Resistor

Part Number: UCC21520 I use the UCC21520 to drive an IGBT which has 4.4nF input capacitance, 10 Ohm Integrated Gate resistor. I used 7.5 to 10 ohm serial reistor to directly drive the IGBT gate. I observe that only when I use 0R (ZERO!) resistor, I get satisfying Switch- ON waveform (20nSec). The turn off waveform is also improved at 0 Ohm resistor (5nSec). The resistor slows down switch ON time to 100nS or more. I ask whether a 0R resistor is still a correct design, without over-stressing the UCC21520. I calculated my peak source and sink current, with resistor = 0R , and I am well below 2A, which looks fine to me. My design: I don't have a bootrap diode. My VDDA cap is 0.1uF , VDDB cap is 0.1uF and 1uF. VCC is 5V, VDDA and VSSA is 16v and -9v while VDDB and VSSB is 16v and -16v, respectively. No Rgs resistor. Thanks for your support!
