Part Number: BQ78350-R2-DEVICE-FW Hi, I'm posting this question on behalf of my customer. It appears they're having trouble with the EVM of the BQ78350-R2. we have a problem with the parameter setting of BQ78350-r2. After each cycle the learned full charge capacity decrease by the value we set in FCC learn down. The design capacity is 15042 mAh. Normally the pack capacity should be about 1000 mAh above this value, but every time we discharge the pack the learned full charge capacity drop by the specified FCC learn down. What can be done to correct this? Thanks, Lauren

Part Number: ISO5852S Dear sir, ISO5852S design layout suggest to proceed with 4 layer pcb. Due to urgency, we are planning to design the ISO5852S based inverter gate driver board based on two layer PCB. What are the effects we Will face in the two layer PCB? Shall we try with two layer pcb for inverter application or do we need to proceed with only 4 layer pcb. Kindly request to guide us to proceed further. Thanking you. Thanks & regards, Rajasekaran.

Forum Post: BQ25890: Logic Level Confirmation

Part Number: BQ25890 I am sure to a lot of people this will be a silly question, therefore it should be very quick and easy to answer (I hope) :) I have the BQ25890 implemented into a design that has a 3V3 MCU connected directly to the I/O pins on the BQ25890 chip. With a varying LiPo battery voltage of 3.2V - 4.2V, will the logic pins (STAT, INT, OTG etc) ever feed more than 3.3V into my MCU and damage it? Or, do these pins only ever see a max of 1.8V internally when floating? Thanks in advance for (hopefully) a simple confirmation!

Part Number: BQ25890 Hopefully a simple and easy to answer question but I want to be 100% clear: If 5V is introduced onto the VSYS rail (from the charger) when the OTG is activated and producing 5V internal from the battery, what does the chip do? -Prefer the incoming 5V? -Block the incoming 5V? -Shut-down the OTG? Should I design some kind of filter for this to block the potential of incoming 5V or does the chip handle this with adequate safety?

Part Number: TPS2378 Hi Team, Our customer can not get power when using TPS2378 *2+ UCC2897A connect with PoE switch(CISCO Catalyst 9407), and can get power if using PoE injector( POE-173 / PD-9501GR ). I'm not sure CISCO Catalyst 9407 is bt solution or UPoE solution, so... 1. If CISCO Catalyst 9407 is a UPoE solution, in previous thread, TI mention that there are only two ways to do UPOE. Through LLDP using a single signature PD or through Forced UPOE using a dual signature PD, so can I asume that CISCO's switch useing LLDP to do UPoE and that's why PD( TPS2378 ) can not get power? 2. follow question1, if not, then what should be the reason? 3. follow question1, if yes, then what can I do for CISCO's switch for geting power? Any setting to modify? 4. If CISCO Catalyst 9407 is a bt solution, then it will not provide power for UPoE PD ( TPS2378 *2), am I right? # The white paper of CISCO's switch for reference: https://web.archive.org/web/20171128140727/http:/www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/switches/catalyst-4500-series-switches/white_paper_c11-670993.html Best regards, C.T.

Part Number: LMR16006 Hello! Our DRV832xR uses an internal LMR16006X to provide a buck output in case the customer wants it. Some customers buy the Buck included version but won't be using it at all. I have been told by some that simply routing the SHDN to GND is enough, others have told me that all 6 pins of the buck should be routed to GND. What is the official best way to keep the buck off/safe if the buck will never be used? Regards. -Adam

Part Number: TPS62811-Q1 Hi team, May I know if TPS62811-Q1 need to add RC snubber from SW pin to GND or not? If snubber can't be used for this device, to reduce SW node spike of TPS62811-Q1, as I know besides input 0402 MLCC decoupling cap, any ways you think we can propose? Thanks. Regards, Allen

Part Number: LP8556 Hi Sir, We can configure the current max register via A1h. But can’t configure the LED current via A0h. When we config A1h; A0h data will be copied as A1h, is something setting wrong here? Below is our present setting, A1h -> 9Fh A5h -> F4h A7h -> F6h A9h -> 80h 01h -> 9Bh Thanks, Ian.

Part Number: BQ25570 Hello my question is I set the voltage output is set to 3.3V.My system is a BQ25570 powering a system(MCU) at 3.3V. The system is on the regulated VOUT net of the BQ25570 (on the buck step-down). But sometimes the built-in Lbuck of bq225570 will have a voltage below 1V. Sometimes using the meter to measure the voltage and return to normal 3.3V The following is my circuit diagram TPS62737 is not on the piece (Please visit the site to view this file)

Part Number: BQ40Z60 Hi, I recently noticed the bq40z60 became NRND (Not Recommended for New Design: http://www.ti.com/product/BQ40Z60 I already have designed a standard battery management block for several products using this IC in our company. I worry that I should change the strategy of battery management hardware. Question: 1) Could you claim the reason why this decent IC became NRND? Difficulty to use, covert flaw, or low yield, etc. 2) Would you introduce an alternative or eligibles for a new design? Thanks again, Joshua Kim
