Hello,
There is an application problem with TPS2105.
customer: Delta (TW)
application: Serve Motor's Encoder
TPS2105 status: M/P since 2012
Issue description:
After burn-in the encoder board with 85degree, customer found that there is a +5V present on IN2(Pin3). it looks like that the IN1 and IN2 are shorted together. it leads to the battery cell(3.6V) was damaged that is connected to the IN2. After power reset, all is normal and IC is not damaged. also, the end-customer returned some damaged battery, so Delta suspects it's cuased by the mis-operation of TPS2105.
Could you give the comments below:
1. Is it possible that both the IN1 and IN2 turned on together internally?
2. What's the transient behavior when EN pin is in threshold level?
it's urgent case. please offer comments asap.
Regards, Brian
