I am developing for 6kW AC/DC power supply using UCC3895. The power supply consists of 3 phase 220V AC/DC rectifier and two 3kw DC/DC converters in parallel. When I tested 3kw DC/DC converter with AC/DC rectifier, the power supply was worked well. But I am facing a problem at start of operation in parallel. When I turn the main switch on, arm short of bridge in one converter is occured. If the bank capacitor of rectifier is empty, the power supply is working well. Otherwise, the problem is occured. I have connected a capacitor enough to make soft start, but I don't make any connection for synchronization between two converters.
Do I need to connect Sync pin between UCC3895? I didn't find any application note for parallel operation.
