Here we are using LM5088 for AC24V ~ DC12V 5A application. I had finish my design and get my pcb worked, here is my design:
but here i met 2 questions:
1、If once the output of 12V is shorted, the MOSFET is overcurrent and damaged, and the source pin and drain pin of MOSFET become short, and the other device on 12V will be damage, that's very danger.Does any one had the overcurrent protect reference design via LM5088?
My MOSFET is 60V/50A(50N06), the fuse is 5A, when the fuse cut off, the device already damage.
2、When my load is 3A, the output seems OK, but when the load is increase to 5A, the output works abnormality. the waveform i measured like below:
and the output of MOSFET:
the Input voltage of MOSFET are drop to 16V ~ 24V, when the input voltage below 20V, the HG is cut off. The spec of my bridge is 100V/6A, is the bridge is not quality or the spec is wrong?
