Forum Post: any way in which we don't need REG to be configured ,just by setting the OTG pin high ,no need to configure REG in BQ24193

Hi All ,

I am evaluating BQ24193 as Battery charger IC. Its a Handheld application which would be capable of charging through USB2.0 and DC Adapter both.

I have a query regarding Boost Mode.In the datasheet it is mentioned we need to configure REG for Enabling OTG.

Is there any way in which we don't need REG to be configured ,just by setting the OTG pin high ,no need to configure REG after that.

When we will set the OTG pin as high ,it will go to Boost mode directly ,without any REG configuration.

Please find the attached schematics ,kindly review it and let me know if any changes required in the schematics.
