I still haven't got the failure to happen with the logger running, I'll run it for a few more days.

One thing that we might be doing wrong is Impedance Tracking is not enabled.  According to the App note SLUA334B. under final steps for preparing file for production is to disable impedance tracking -> 

4. Open the saved file in a text editor such as Notepad, and change the value of Update Status from 06
to 02, which indicates that the parameters are learned but IT is disabled (as it should be in a new pack
before calibration). Also, the cycle number in the SBS Configuration can be changed to 0.

Shouldn't IT be set as a default or is it something you set after the new system is up and running?
