Forum Post: three phase pfc and sepic topology using uc3854

Hi to all. I am in the task  to design a Sepic, with pfc correction, converter for a three phase variable speed / variable frecuency and it seems that the uc3854 pfc ic can be adecuate. However the input voltages in the application notes for this IC are 80 to 270 volts and the voltages I need are much lower, 12 to  120 Vac rms. So my questions are: can I use this IC to do the task? Is it mandatory to use the uc3854 between the 80 to 270 volts input voltage, and why? Which modifications should I do in the boost desing to use it in the SEPIC topology.
