Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone here is familiar with TI's INA226 High-or Low-Side Measurement, Bi-Directional CURRENT/POWER MONITOR with I2C Interface? I have a few questions about the device. (Also if there is a better forum to post this discussion in, please let me know -- this is my first time in the power management forum).

Well anyways, in case there is a similar device out there, I was wondering how to read the current register and power register in order to determine the actual numerical values (50 mA and 50mW for example).  This device in particular allows for a lot of variability and customization of the calibration register so in the end, I do not know how to actually read what ends up in those registers in terms of bits (the registers hold two bytes of data). Any help or intuition regarding what is probably the case (perhaps from experience with other devices) would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Matt
