Hi,
In 8148 design we have used TPS659113 PMIC as recommanded and we found that MOSFET Q1 (used for TPS_CORE_VDD) is geting heated up after few days of operation. We found this when we observed CORE VDD is drawing more current than expected i.e. more tha 600 mA to 1A. We tried isolating and current draw did ot happen...when we touched MOSFET Q1..its was heating just after 1 to 2 min after we powered up the board. When we replace Q1...everything was fine..but again after 10-15 power ON cycles the same MOSFET giving the same issue...we need to know what is causing this...is it PMIC creating all this issues..or SoC..but even if this gets heated up..SoC does not heats up and works fine..does not even hang up...any pointers..? We analyse PCB but seems to be ok..and all other supporting components are seems to be ok as well...
