Follow the BQ24650 datasheet, it only operate with range 0-28V. But the voltage from solar is 60V.
What do you think about my solution as follow:
- I will use a DC-DC converter (Ex 7824) to convert voltage from 60V down to 24V and then connect to Vcc Pin.
- Poroblem is the voltage in HIDRV is only 30V. It can not drive MOSFET. Because the voltage in D pin of MOSFET is 60V. It not satisfy the MOSFET condition Ugs > 0.
- So i will not use HIDRV Pin to drive directly MOSFET. I will use it to drive IRS2118 (Mostfet drive). and then use IRS2118 output pin to drive MOSFET.
