I´ve got the same problem. I use also EV2300-002. When I connect the interface without gauge to the program "gauge studio" show EV2300a is connected. When I connect the gauge over I²C, the software shows none EV Box is connected.
The connection to gauge work when I connected each I ²Cdata linesequentially.
Connect ground wait a moment then connect SCL and finally SDA. After that the connection work.
After that Iwas able to send and receive manuallycommands to and from gauge. Also gauge studio shows temperature and voltage. Unfortunately gauge studio does not work correctly. The registers and parameters were not displayed. All very strange.
Could it be we use the wrong or to old EV-Box?
Iwould be appreciate anyhelp.
