Would you please send some more information regarding the problem?
1) What is the input voltage range and the forward voltage on the LED? What version of LM2842 are you using (X or Y)?
2) What is the inductor part number? And what is the ripple current through the LED that the customer is designing for?
3) Is the current sense resistor rated for the right power?
4) Are there any scope plots for us to look at?
5) Would you be able to share the design layout?
