Forum Post: 24v 7w LED driver (TL4242 or others)

I am working on a lighting solution for a small retail building where I wish to use 600 24v 7w LEDs in four separate arrays. The configuration of each array I want to use is as follows:
1) one transformer - 25v, 47amp(max), 1128 watts{max)
2) six LED dimmers - 24v, 8amps, 192 watts
3) 150 LEDs - VF 22-24v, PD 7w, IF 350ma, IF(Peak) 700ma, TJ 125c, VR 35v, IR 5μA
4) 150 current limiting devices (CLD) - possible TL4242 ? or other ?
so that would put one 1000w transformer connected to six dimmers and each dimmer with 25 CLDs connected to 25 LEDs making a total of 150 7w LEDs to each transformer
The TL4242 appears like it can do this (act as a current limiting device) but I am unclear as to what it does to the voltage. Will it maintain the same voltage out that goes in and only control the current?
I understand very little about electronics, but I can build it if I know what to connect where.
In advance, Thanks for the help.
Terry
