Q1) Is 5V input possible with 410A?

A1.) No, the bq500410A power stage is designed for 12V.  The WPC standard TX type is A6.

Q2.) Your EVM does provide for it with a boost regulator module, but are there any issues in this approach (apart from impacting the BOM and form factor)?

A2.) This will depend on your design requirements.  But from a bq500410A and WPC certification standpoint if should not be a problem.

Q3.) Is there a ready (tested) solution for a single coil transmitter system based on the 410A, with 5V input?

A3.) The single coil application circuit is in the bq500410A data sheet, the 5V to 12V boost converter is in the EVM user’s guide. But we do not have a design that combines both.

Q4.) How can we achieve sending (receiving) proprietary packets to (from) the receiver module? Do your EVMs for 211A and 410A provide this functionality?

A4.) The bq500XXX devices do not support proprietary packets.
