Greetings -
I have a board that uses the TPS51125. So far, with a straight implementation from the datasheet, it works great. I would like to reduce the size, by using smaller footprint mosfets. Since I already use AON7242 fets elsewhere on my board, I am considering those.
Do you think they would work? In particular, the datasheet warns that the low-side mosfet should have an integrated schottky diode. The AON7242 datasheet mentions a "schottky-style soft recovery body diode", am I right to assume this would do the trick? Is that mosfet ok for the high-side as well?
thanks much!
