Hello,
I'm working on creating a HEV battery charger than supplies 10A at 24V from a 28-40V source. When I connect the supply to my circuit the device just wont turn on. What is interesting was that I made a mistake on my layout by having the comp circuit and feedback circuit switched. When I turned on the circuit when it was wrong The device worked but would periodically shut off once it reached about the input voltage and then start its way up again to Vin. Once I figured out the layout mistake I tried turned the power on and then it wouldn't turn on.
I am following the WEBENCH schematic (http://webench.ti.com/webench5/power/webench5.cgi?VinMin=28&VinMax=40&O1V=24&O1I=10&base_pn=LM25088&AppType=None&op_TA=30&lang_chosen=en_US&optfactor=3)
Heres a pdf version:(Please visit the site to view this file)
Now some of the values are different such as:
Rt = 53.6k
L=33u
Rcomp = 69.8k
and my mosfet is (http://www.nxp.com/documents/data_sheet/BUK9275-100A.pdf)
If anyone spots any errors I would greatly appreciate it.
